The Georgia Latino Film Festival is celebrating its fifth year, which has quickly become the south cenematic celebration. The Georgia Latino Film Festival is one of the most diverse film festival in the country, welcoming an audience of nearly 1,500 independent actors, producers directors with over 30 screenings of independent, international, animated, documentary, Virtual Reality, Music Videos and short films, with submissions from all over the world.

Georgia Latino Film Festival screenings include conversations with filmmakers producers and distributers, giving our attendees, great opportunity to network and engage with industry professionals. In the past few festivals artists and directors who have come to share knowledge and empower our next generation of film makers include actors Oscar Torre (Hangover 3, Ladrones 1 and 2, The Boatman, Sin Verguenzas, Queen of the South) Edward James Olmos (American Me, Selena Agents of Shield, Battlestar Galactica, Miami Vice ) Tenoch Huerta (The 33), Marlon Moreno (Casnado Luciernagas, El Capo 1,2,3) Lisa Nicloe (Married to Medicine) Pepe Serna (ScarFace, The Jerk, Road To Juarez) Reece Odum (Imprisoned by Love) Rick Najera (East Los High, LatinoLogues In Living Color, Nothing Like the Holidays)


Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association, Jose Marquez and the Black Latino Council Lance Robertson in honor of Hispanic Heritage month founded the Georgia Latino Film Festival in order to make sure that Latino stories are being told in the Hollywood of the South, Georgia. The Georgia Latino Film Festival hold activities and events where where Latino film executives, producer and artists at the forefront of the Latino Film industry can come together, to discuss the future of Latino Film Makers, Writers, and Directors. Welcome to the 6th Annual Georgia Latino Film Festival.

Each year during Hispanic Heritage Month the Georgia Latino Film Festival we bring together 4 inspiring days filled with premieres, classes, panels, exclusive parties, and awards showcasing the top storytellers and film makers in the Latino Film Industry and Georgia.

The Georgia Latino Film festival is an arts non-profit with a mission to to build awareness of independent films and film as an art form; provide educational opportunities for students and Georgia Latino filmmakers; and create opportunities for the Georgia communities to experience high-quality Latino films. Year round programs —screenings, parties, panels, workshops, and other educational events. By bringing audiences and filmmakers together, the Festival has the opportunity to deepen the relationship between the moviegoer, film maker and artist.

We know that in years to come the Georgia Latino Film Festivals will continue to grow and is the place where careers are born, where we leverage our collective voice and resources to empower our the Latino film Industry and community.
